Toni Fisher
Toni was born in Northern California and grew up in Aurora, Colorado. She attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri for two years before moving to Houston, Texas. Ms. Fisher completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Texas Southern University. Ms. Fisher has over 20 years of urban public education experience including over 10 years as a charter school principal and administrator. Ms. Fisher is a Texas certified teacher, principal and superintendent.
Toni’s most recently served as the Special Education Director of the Varnett School District as well as the principal for the Northeast Campus for 5 years. She was a founding parent of KIPP Liberation and became the first assistant principal of KIPP Liberation. She worked with KIPP Houston for over 5 years as a parent, teacher, administrator and community partner.
Toni has served the Executive Director and founder of Sisterhood Creations, and Sankofa Education Design Project.
